Over the past 12 years, I’ve had the opportunity to write effective copy that has engaged audiences, built communities, and told compelling stories for brands across telecommunications, retail, technology, consumer packaged goods, SaaS, real estate, and professional services.

I started my professional career in Vancouver, working in marketing and communications roles. Regardless of my title, writing work always found its way onto my desk. Since my childhood dream was to become a writer, this suited me just fine. But, I couldn’t help but notice that copy was often an afterthought–a missed opportunity to connect with the audience—while marketers and creative teams pored over visual assets.

In 2019, after six years as an Account Director at a boutique marketing agency in Vancouver, I embraced my passion for writing full time. As a freelance copywriter, I have the flexibility to take my time, get to know you and your audience, and think deeply about how to use copy to draw them in, keep them engaged, and move them to act.
