As Ocean’s Seafood launched a new website and set out to engage more consumers online, producing regular content on its blog gave the brand an opportunity to leverage SEO to drive website traffic while keeping website and social media content fresh. To that end, the Fresh Thinking was launched to engage website visitors and social media fans by sharing recipes, talking about the brand’s sustainability initiatives, discussing lifestyle topics, and communicating company news.

Prior to its launch, I helped develop the content strategy for the Fresh Thinking blog based on the brand’s goals and target audience and competitor insights. Shortly after its launch, I became the blog’s primary writer.

Ocean Brands, Ocean’s Seafood’s parent company, has several other consumer packaged goods brands in its portfolio. Establishing and maintaining a distinct tone of voice for each, I also developed and wrote the blog content for Gold Seal, Authentica World Cuisine, and Club Des Millionnaire’s.
